When our world is brought to its knees as it has been with the Covid 19 virus, fear is easily spread. But God has told us not to fear anything.
Isaiah 41:10
10 So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
As we are faced with social isolation and everything is shutting down around us, we are faced with problems we have never seen before. We never thought we would see the day when we are forced to shelter in place within our homes. And as Christians, we never thought we would see the day when Church doors are closed indefinitely to try and help save lives.
We know God has this and he is still in control. Although we are in isolation and Church congregations are unable to gather in our traditional houses of worship, He has blessed us with technology.
We can worship and praise our Lord in our homes with family and neighbors and with schools now closed, what easier way has there ever been to bring back prayer into the education system. With parents now performing the duties of teachers, why not add Bible Lessons to the curriculum? We can still disciple, pray constantly and praise continually.
TechReach is a ministry I started a few years back with the hope of bringing people to Christ through the use of technology. Now seems to be the perfect time to once again reach out to the lost, the uninformed and those desperately needing to hear about the saving grace of our God and the sacrifice made for us by our Lord Jesus.
Our Church uses the ChurchTrac management platform to run our database and some of our online services such as online donations, tithing, attendance and accounting. I’ll be introducing the interactive features that can be used by our congregation to improve the way we take care of business and keep everyone updated with information.
I’ll also be introducing many other means that we can use within the Church and within the community to carry out the great commission. Be on the lookout for more TechReach posts on our website and social media.
Remember, God’s Church is not a building. WE, are the Church.
Blessings, from yours in Christ.
