February 3rd, 2018, at 10:45am is the time to come out and join us for a FREE concert of Bluegrass & worship with Kellen Burger Road!
Kellen Burger Road is a bluegrass band from the hills of West Virginia. With soulful vocals, and solid instrumentation, KBR will bring out the Hillbilly in anyone. Some of their inspiration comes from The Isaacs, Ralph Stanley, Keith Whitley and Rhonda Vincent.
The band was founded by Trisha Anderson (Bass / Vocals), and Sarah Beth Meadows (Lead Vocals / Guitar); two best friends who love making bluegrass music and going on adventures together. In fact, the band name “Kellen Burger Road” was decided on after going on an off-roading trip to Helvetia, WV one cold and snowy night.
Sarah Beth Meadows’s voice puts the blues in bluegrass. She puts emotion and power behind anything she sings. She also has the special talent of old fashioned yodeling, that you’ll hear in every show.
Trisha Anderson is a highly skilled bassist. She keeps the group together both while playing, and by being a great friend to everyone. She also has a voice like a bird when she sings.
Jubal Taylor, on the banjo, was the next person to officially join the band. His “rolls” and voice are what bluegrass music is all about. Hailing from Craigsville, WV, he has a smooth style that adds great tone to the group.
Following Jubal was Josh Pitcock on the Dobro and lead guitar. Known by the band by his last name, Pitcock’s voice is bluegrass music. He adds that high lonesome sound that everyone loves. You need to hear this man sing!
Together the group shows what bluegrass music in West Virginia is all about; heart, soul, and a great time with good friends.
Kellen Burger Road can bring out the Hillbilly in everyone.
